Special Occasion Decorated Cakes – Policy and Guidelines

• All cake plans must be finalized no later than 4 weeks prior to the date needed; meaning flavors, design, tiers, etc. We can be flexible on this should our schedule allow, but that is at our discretion to ensure that every order, no matter how large or small, gets the attention it deserves.
  
• An appointment is required no later than 5 weeks prior to the date your cake is needed, to go over details of your cake, review sketches and finalize the plans.
• The option of a cake tasting is offered free of charge should you choose to have one, and may be done separately or within your regular appointment.  Should you like to do this, it must be scheduled more than 4 weeks prior to the date, so you can decide on what you'd like before the deadline.  You may select up to 4 types of cake and frosting / filling combinations you would like to sample.
• Once plans are set a final quote is made and a 20% deposit is required to hold the date and so we can purchase ingredients, materials, etc.  Your deposit must be received no later than 4 weeks prior to the date your cake is needed.
• Your 20% deposit is refundable in full up to two weeks prior to your wedding date should you need to cancel for any reason. From two weeks to 5 days prior it is refundable for 50%. After 5 days it is non-refundable.
• Last, but not least - do not hesitate to ask questions and be specific!  We want to make sure that you get EXACTLY what you want.  If you're happy, we’re happy. If there is a specific flavor or other item that you do not see listed on our website, just ask.  We are constantly trying recipes so we may already have a good recipe for what you'd like in the works.
